In group project during the 2nd year of my degree we were asked to design a product and to perform an ergonomic evaluation. This evaluation was to look at primary and secondary tasks. In this instance we designed a CAD model of a 1987 Ford Fiesta XR2. Primary tasks for a car were tasks such as gear changes, reaching the break pedal, using the steering wheel and adjusting the rear view mirror. Below are a few pictures that we took while using Sammie, an software package used to aid ergonomic analyses.
