I have always had a passion for cars, after buying a 1987 Ford Fiesta XR2 two years ago I caught the tuning and improvement bug.
I started off small with exhausts and wheels and the such like, but swiftly moved to major engine upgrades. I initially started by changing the single carb to a Twin carb Set-Up (DCNF 40′s as found on Ferarri Dinos).
This only caused me to think up greater plans, after months of research I decided to find another car and perform an engine swap and general car overhaul. The aim was to learn as many skills as possible and to have a budget, good performance run around. Potentially able to attend track days and maybe get involved with Hillclimbing events.
I eventually found the car at a bargain price and the hunt for parts started….
The car as of today has the engine fitted and running, the project requires the breaks, exhaust and an MOT to finish. This will be completed by late June or early July.
